Sexual Misconduct: Trump’s Lone Requisite for Cabinet Nominees

Washington, D.C.

As President-Elect Trump continues filling out consequential cabinet choices for his second administration, it has become evident that the majority of them share on vital core feature from their recent past: sexual misconduct.

Serially accused of sexual misconduct himself, including being found liable for sexual misconduct in NYC court, Mr. Trump clearly doesn’t find these disturbing accusations to be a liability, but more of a preferred feature to the staff who will make up his Cabinet.

Most notably, former Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL) who resigned last week mere days before the Congressional Ethics Committee was set to release it’s findings on allegations that Gaetz knowingly had sexual relations with underaged girls.

Other nominees with a history of sexual misconduct include:

  • Kristi Noem, Dept. of Homeland Security Nominee – Engaged in an extramarital affair with Trump Aide Corey Lewandowski. Also proudly shot and killed her dog.
  • Pete Hegseth, Dept. of Defense Nominee – Accused of sexual assault. Hegseth denies the assault but acknowledges a payment to the accuser.
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Health & Human Services Nominee – Accused of sexually assaulting babysitter, to whom RFK has stated he texted an apology.
  • Matt Gaetz, Nominee for Attorney General – Under active investigation for having sex with minors and engaging in an underaged sex trafficking ring, allegedly paying for such encounters via Venmo.

Republicans, who once held themselves to a high standard of personal ethics, morals, and character, now find themselves caring very little about the types of people who represent their party.
